About
LAND SPEED RACING
A good client and friend of mine suggested running a previous build at Bonneville and I suggested building a purpose-built LSR bike.
The bike is a complete ground-up build, featuring duplex steering, a swing farm from a Ninja 500 and of course the tried and true Honda parallel twin 350 (325cc) engine. We ran this bike in 2019 at Bonneville and proved the chassis, were close to record but nt close enough. In 2021 I modified the chassis to accept a 1978 KZ650 motor which we ran and set a new AMA record at 121.426mph. Top speed GPS we achieved on the salt was 127mph.
